Longest Night

Have a holly, jolly Christmas the mall muzak blares. But for many, Christmas is a time of sadness, pain and grief.  In the midst of celebrations and get togethers with family and friends, others feel deeply the pain of broken relationships, job loss, financial pressures, the weariness of long term illness or the sorrow of death.

As the days grow shorter, the darkness grows longer and sometimes, deeper. During these days, we gather together to look for light and hope. During these days, we gather together to remember that we are not alone.

Join us on Thursday, December 21st, at 7:00, at KesPres for “The Longest Night” service. Through music and prayer, through scripture and reflection we will seek God’s presence and comfort. His light shines in our darkness.

Everyone is welcome.
