First Visit

Entering a church for the first time can be unsettling at the very least. Even if you have been to church before you may not be familiar with KesPres and you may wonder what it would be like to join us on a Sunday morning.

church front entranceOnce you make your way through the front doors, one of our volunteers will be there to welcome you. They will probably say something like, “I’m so glad you’re here” or “It’s nice to have you with us.” They will be happy to answer any questions you have about our children’s program (if you have kids), our nursery (if you have toddlers or infants) or even just where the washrooms are located. They will also give you a bulletin or program that explains what we will be doing so that there are no surprises. Chances are once you come through the second set of doors into the sanctuary(where we worship) you will be welcomed again by someone. All you need to do is find a seat and be yourself. During worship you will hear a blend of contemporary and traditional music, a story for the children, prayers, scripture readings and a 20 minute message that we hope will make faith real and relevant. KesPres is a great place for you to grow in your faith. We think that KesPres is the kind of family you have been looking for. Welcome to our family. We look forward to getting to know you.
