GATHERING PLACE: 

  Gathering Place is a community meal offered at Keswick United Church every Thursday night. There are already people from KesPres serving here so click on the “word” Gathering Place above to send an email and get more information. CANCER DRIVER:

Cancer drivers drive people to their chemo or radiation appointment. There are already people from KesPres serving here so click on the “word” Cancer Driver above to get more information. (Please put the word “Cancer Driver” in the subject line of your email.)

LOCAL SCHOOLS

There are many ways to serve at local schools, including lunch and recess monitors; crossing guards; or  helping in the classroom with students who could benefit from extra help with reading etc.  Click on “Local Schools” above to get more information. YOUTH SPORTS AND RECREATION

Sports teams are a great way for youth to build teamwork, promote good sportsmanship and have fun playing the game. Whether hockey, soccer, baseball, skating, gymnastics, dancing or more, there are numerous ways to serve including instructors, coaches and assistants.  Click on “Youth Sports and Recreation” above to get more information. LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Might you be interested in serving on a planning committee for an upcoming event in our town?  Perhaps you feel you might make a difference by sitting as a member of our town council or even an MPP? NEW LEAF

New Leaf provides services and supports people  with  intellectual disabilities. It is a community group home with connections right here at KesPres. Click on “New Leaf” above to get more information.  (Please put the words “New Leaf” in the subject line of your email.)

GEORGINA COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY

Supporting the needs of Keswick, Sutton and Pefferlaw, the Food Pantry is located at “The Link” on Dalton Road in Sutton.Volunteers are needed to help receive / sort food donations.  Click on “Georgina Community Food Pantry” above to get more information. Georgina Public Libraries

There are a couple of ways to serve through the public library system.  “Friends of the Library” helps out with various events throughout the year sponsored by the library.  “Visiting Library Services” brings library items to those who can’t get out to visit the library themselves.  Click on “Georgina Public Libraries” to get more information. SUTTON YOUTH SHELTER

This is a ministry of the Salvation Army.  Their are committed to strengthen youths and their families.  Volunteers are wanted to help encourage and support through mentoring, teaching new skills and enhancing the lives of the youth who reside there.  Click on “Sutton Youth Shelter” above to get more information.  (Please include the words “Sutton Youth Shelter” in the subject line of your email.)

DEAFBLIND ONTARIO

SMALL GROUP

Would you be interested in hosting / leading a small group in your community?
